Been so busy

…the last week.  I wouldn’t say I’ve been overtired, but close to it.  Finished up with work yesterday, did some errands, got some dinner and planned on having a few quiet drinks and doing some quality internet (read that Tumbling, research, newsgathering etc)  Remembered (due to Tumblr) that the Indian GP was this weekend.  Normally I’m all over F1 like a dirty shirt, I will either watch everything live via BBC Player or (shhh) download it.  I mean FP1, FP2, FP3, Qually build up, Qually proper, post Qually, Race buildup, obviously the race itself, and of course post race coverage.  Average weekend ends up being around 15 GB if I go with all HD feeds.

Yesterday I checked TSN for broadcast times for the race; I was told 15:00 hrs/ Sunday.  I immediately thought to myself “Well, three in the afternoon is an odd time for a race”  And then I went to bed.  At 8 P.M.  On the Saturday of Halloween weekend.

I awoke this morning at 5:34, fully aware of my mistake even before I opened my eyes.  Those of you who are into F1 will know that watching the race live IS THE VERY LEAST YOU CAN DO, aside from actually being there.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say FML, but MAN my brain is stupid when I’m tired.  It really sucks learning of the race developments through various tumblr posts.  As I sit here with coffee, my Blackberry is buzzing with race results and constructors championship points.  (F1 live timing app- it’s free)

Life continues.
