I ended up on Netflix tonight to watch Dirty Harry for the first time. I didn’t want to start a new screenplay, as I just redrafted one earlier today. 

But I ended up somehow watching this Korean film, Castaway on the Moon. Boy, am I glad I watched this. Sure, it wasn’t the greatest film I’ve ever seen but that’s not the point. The point is that the film accomplishes my favorite thing in cinema. It does what is probably one of the most single greatest reasons why I want to make films for the rest of my life. It makes you feel fucking beautiful when you watch it. 

Noted and added to my evergrowing, neverending list. Shit, this reminds me I still haven’t seen 2046.
