Been so sick

for the last 2 weeks, have been stuffing myself with Netflix-mainly TopGear UK. Have watched so much TopGear. It may not be possible to have ingested so much TopGear by one individual in such a short timeframe by conventional methods, but I have. I can tell you anything about any car that has been on TopGear, ever. (Since 2003)

As well, I am now proportionally smarter and taller than Clarkson. For example, did you know that the Citroen c6 is better than you. Or that anyone who goes near a caravan (camper trailer) will instantly implode due to national dislike.

Also, The Stig does not talk. Just saying.

Dan Harmon will not be returning as showrunner of NBC’s Community, and whether he’ll remain involved at all with the series he created at remains very much in doubt. Sony Pictures Television, which produces the series with Universal Television, has closed a deal with Happy Endings writers David Guarascio and Moses Port to join Community as showrunners and exec producers.

Weird and dumb! So dumb. Great work, dudes. First you cancel AWAKE and now this.

I’m hesitant to be the guy blogging about television shows getting cancelled or whatever, but working on and watching Community has been a huge part of my world. I’m emotionally invested here. To imagine the show under some other writer’s voice wigs me out.

Dan’s awesome, and I’m sure he’s got a open invitation to make amazing things for other companies and networks from now until forever, but it’s still dumb that he won’t be able to continue with what will (obviously now) be the last season of the show. I guess Community only had three seasons after all?

So, I’ve been away for awhile. Not away as in incarcerated, as my old landlord/(who is a)parole officer seems to think on Facebook. Just…away. Truth is I’ve been working up the courage to do something I’ve never done before and tonight was the night, so I thought it only fair to let you all in on it.

I used a Biore nose strip. I did. You would NOT BELIEVE the stuff that came out of my nose, and obviously I’m not talking nostrils here. It was a cathartic moment. I saw all the concrete and drywall dust that I thought were my friends up until tonight. I saw about 400 grains of pepper, probably from that time I got wasted and shook the pepper shaker on my face but who knows. I saw bits of the Tim Hortons breakfast sandwich that I thought I finished last week but in my haste must have mashed into my nose instead. Nose, mouth… they’re pretty close together and when you’re in a rush it’s a free for all.

Lastly; and I know you won’t believe it, but I found the 3d glasses that I thought had fallen behind the bed when I fell asleep with them on last week. They were broken. So, there goes 70 bucks. But my nose is so shiny and clean now! I cannot get over it.

Anyway, good chat. I’ll be back. Moving to Ottawa to fix up a retirement home with sprinklers so that old people don’t die in a fire. TTYS
